What a privilege! 🐘
The last few weeks have been absolutely magical here on Lake St Lucia. We’ve been seeing Elephants right along the Shores, and even had the incredible sight of them swimming past our Shoreline Hippo & Croc Cruises!

Have you ever really admired a Waterbuck?

All shaggy fur, soft edges, and surprisingly fluffy for something so wild. Their thick coat keeps them warm and water-resistant near rivers and marshes. 🐾

And then there’s that pale ring on the back, it may help herd members follow each other through tall grass and could even confuse predators for a split second during a chase.
