According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), over 1 billion people globally live with some form of disability, yet disability inclusion remains one of the most overlooked areas in corporate diversity strategies.
From inaccessible workplaces to unconscious bias in hiring, people with disabilities continue to face systemic barriers that limit their participation in the workforce. And it is not just about physical access, it is about representation, understanding, and intentional inclusion.
Inclusive practices do not just benefit individuals with disabilities; they foster a stronger, more innovative, and more equitable workplace for all.
At the French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI), we believe real inclusion means everyone has a seat at the table. That is why we are hosting a DEI Roundtable on Disability & Inclusion, where we will engage with experts, members, and advocates to explore practical, forward-thinking strategies for building more inclusive professional environments.
