Due to another major event taking place on the same weekend, we unfortunately received very few entries for the IMLA Gravel Grinder. Management has therefore decided to postpone the event and host it on a later date.

The IMLA Gravel Grinder has therefore been cancelled until further notice.

Thank you very much to everyone for your interest and support. Participants who have already paid via EasyReg will be refunded by Free State Cycling.

I will keep this WhatsApp group open and share the new date and further details here as soon as they have been confirmed.

They weren't slow because they could not hurry, they went very slow because they could not stop marvelling.
Today I had the privilege to walk the mountain trail with school kids who not often have been on to a mountain hike.
Carring their collected treasures ,stones for granny and mommy and teacher, porcupine quills, interesting sticks ect,was the best part of my day.
Moments like this remind us how wonderful it is :
Connecting hearts to the wild world around them.

Come hike Spitzkop with us 🥾⛰️

It might look like a small mountain from the bottom but trust me, your heartbeat will tell you otherwise.

And once you reach the top, it’s worth every step. On a clear day, you can see all the way to the Maluti Mountains of Lesotho sometimes even covered in snow.
