One of the greatest gifts, are words, especially handwritten ones in pretty gift cards.

We loved hosting this precious gem from the Netherlands.

Hope our paths cross again dearest Anouk🙌🏽

Ever wonder where the cleanest swimming spots are around False Bay? Have a look at the latest water quality ratings along coastal monitoring points.

Can you spot an all-clear green strip here? Yup, our lovely Glencairn at no.5 is in excellent health.

Though we are thankful for this rating, we are disheartened for other areas in the Bay that did not receive a similar diagnosis. The impact of load-shedding on sewage systems and other water services is undeniable and very concerning.

We finally got the chance to go on a trip we’ve been recommending to our guests for the past three years.

And wow - expectations exceeded!

We stepped out of our home and walked to Kalk Bay, rated trendiest tourist hot-spot by Forbes magazine, for good reason.

We absolutely loved viewing our neighborhood through the eyes of our guests. How lucky are we to call this place home.

What is your favourie spot on the South-Pen strip? We’d love to check it out & recommend it to our guests.

This morning’s sunrise reflecting on Simon’s Town.

Reminds me of dear friends of ours in the US & their band called Sea Fire.

(Check out their EP on itunes: https://music.apple.com/za/album/songs-for-joe-ep/1526401282)

Day dreaming of experiencing them live in NY a lifetime ago.

Thanks for teaching us a thing or two about hosting Ben & Em!
