Chris started his career in the wildlife industry after close on 15 years in the corporate environment. The move to become a nature guide was inspired from a life long love for the wilderness and its animals. Having completed a professional field guide qualification through EcoTraining and Chris has had lodge experience at a 5 star establishment in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve (a big 5 reserve). C
hris has completed lead trails, field guiding, backup trails, advanced r***e handling, tracks and signs, birding, navigation and orientation and field observations courses. He is working to complete advanced birding through FGASA (Field Guide Association of Southern Africa) to become a birding guide. He is also a member of FGASA and holds a wilderness first aid level 2 qualification. He has had the privilege of walking reserves such as Mashatu (Thuli Block, Botswana), Makuleki (Northern Kruger National Park), Selati, Karongwe, Balule, Klaserie and Timbavati Game Reserves under the guidance of some well respected industry professionals.
