Botswana Safaris and Self drive tours Botswana Safairs and self-drive tours You decide what you want to do and we book it for you. You can hire a 4x4 from us or you can go in your own vehicle.

You can travel on your own to Botswana or we can send one of our well trained game rangers along with you. Botswana is not the average tourist destination and it would be ideal for you to tour at your own pace through this vast country. However, we would suggest a well trained guide to secure your safety and to provide you with the information to make your safari a really enjoyable and uplifting e

xperience. Accommodation in Botswana's National Parks and the Okavango Delta are very expensive and therefore most people stay in tents. If you can afford to stay in one of the lodges, a once in a lifetime experience is guaranteed. The camps are small, gameviewing is excellent and service is out of this world. By allowing us to tailormake a safari for you, you will enjoy the best of both worlds. The best possible guide will be around to take care of your safety and your needs. You will not need to break the bank and you will experience the luxury that you deserve. Our guides are child-friendly and we welcome people of all ages. We strongly recommend a mixed safari where you stay in lodges where the price is not over the moon and sleep in tents in the wild. We do have the knowledge to recommend the best package to suit your particular needs.

Taking meat into Botswana and Namibia
We receive regular questions about taking meat and other fresh produce into Botswana and Namibia from South Africa. Due to the FMD (Foot and Mouth Disease) outbreak in Limpopo, no meat may cross the border from South Africa to Namibia or Botswana. This regulation includes biltong, animal hides, dairy products and eggs. At some of the border posts you might even find they confiscate fruit and vegetables. This means that canned products and UHT products are the best option until this ban is lifted.
