Reprise des vols entre Madagascar et l’Afrique du Sud.

Depuis le mois de mars, l’ouverture des frontières de Madagascar aux vols internationaux est organisée progressivement avec plusieurs compagnies aériennes.

Le 5 juillet 2022, le Ministre des Affaires étrangères, M. Richard Randriamandrato, a été reçu par le Président de la République d'Afrique du Sud, SEM. Cyril Ramaphosa à la résidence officielle de Mahlamba Ndlopfu à Pretoria afin de discuter de la coopération bilatérale entre les deux pays.

Après plusieurs mois de suspension à cause de la situation sanitaire, la reprise imminente des liaisons aériennes directes entre Madagascar et l’Afrique du Sud a été confirmée au cours de cet entretien.

Les deux pays ont également convenu de préserver leurs relations bilatérales et régionales en tant que pays frères au sein de la famille SADC. Le Président Ramaphosa a déclaré au cours de l’entretien que “La SADC n'est pas complète sans Madagascar”.
