Easy Border Crossings and Memorable Trips!!!
My name is Leon Garbade and my family and I have been travelling to Southern Mozambique for over 13 years now. I have always actively encouraged people to travel to this great country, however stories of corrupt officials and nightmare border crossings have been a real challenge. Coupled with unmarked 4x4 tracks in deep sand, have served as effective deterrents for the “not so adventurous” travellers. Together with my wife Robyn, and daughter Addison, we have taken many “novices” across the border and on two occasions we took groups across the border consisting of 9 vehicles and 45 people. Effortlessly and without incident! (one of these trips was actually my wife’s 40th birthday party) “Why Southern Mozamqbiue?” I hear you ask. The answer is simple,.... value for money and an idyllic holiday setting complete with that “far away, island feel” for a third of the cost. I have truly loved every trip, every moment, every memory made, whilst holidaying in this part of the country and we have built up a lot of local knowledge and we are ready to share this information with YOU! We aim to share our experience to help you get the most of your stay. To provide you a guided “self drive” to your destination, to assist you with every step of your trip, from where to stay, to what to take with you!
