What an incredible day yesterday at the BirdLife South Africa Bird Fair in the Pretoria National Botanical Garden! 🦜🌿

​As a guide, there’s nothing quite like trading stories with fellow birders, testing out fresh optics, catching expert talks, and soaking in the infectious energy of our birding community. Watching everyone log sightings on various Birding apps throughout the gardens was pure magic—plus, the inaugural "Call of the Hadeda" contest kept us all laughing!

​Huge thanks to BirdLife South Africa and everyone who stopped by to chat about upcoming field trips and lifers. Can't wait to get back out into the bush with some of you soon! 🔭📸
