Hey everyone, pls be aware that ACSA will be enforcing new rules regarding hand luggage for DOMESTIC TRAVEL. The following has been updated on LIFT Airline website.

As of 22 November 2023, Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) will ensure full compliance of hand luggage limitations at all airport security checkpoints.
We want your journey to be as seamless as possible.

To ensure you have a great airport experience, please take note of LIFT's hand luggage allowances.

Any travellers exceeding hand luggage allowances will be asked to return to the LIFT check-in counters. This could result in extra costs or delays to your travel.

All LIFT flights include one free item of hand baggage and Premium ticket holders may take two free items of hand baggage
A slimline laptop bag or handbag is included in the hand baggage allowance
Hand baggage items may not exceed 56cm x 36cm x 23cm, and may not weigh more than 7kg

We recommend you arrive 2 hours before your flight departs. Check-in closes 45 minutes before departure and boarding closes 15 minutes before departure.
