Every once in a while you get feedback where you have to say, Wow! Are they really talking about me?
“Hello,
I just wanted to take a quick moment to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our two-day tour with Moira….Cape tour, wine area, and drop off at Leeu Estate in Franschhoek. We have never experienced a tour guide who was as efficient, considerate and as passionate as Moira; it is evident she loves what she does. Her breadth of knowledge (not only of SA) is incredible. It was a truly wonderful experience being immersed in the culture and history of your unique and beautiful country. From “soup to nuts” she knew it all….absolutely amazing.
Moira’s knowledge based upon her education, work experience, and general background was broad as well as extremely insightful. She is articulate, full of meaningful anecdotes, and has a terrific sense of humor. Her attention to detail lent to a very digestible explanation of historical accounts from the late 1600s through present day.
Her wine knowledge was incredible. The wine farms she took us to provided a unique blend of contemporary and boutique wine estates.
It is hard to convey the level of our appreciation for the total experience Moira provided us these past two days. In our over 20 years of international travel, we have never experienced a guide as excellent as Moira.
A few personal bullet points:
Never did we feel rushed;
Moira was flexible to our needs;
She was very proactive and perceptive to any and all needs; and
She had beautiful manners and was very well spoken.
