Geology Workshop - An Introduction : Saturday 13 June 2026
Rocks Ain't Dead but tell many stories, if you know their language. From fiery beginnings to eons of weathering and deposition, rocks record a fascinating tale of time, pressure, deformation and mineral wealth.
Join us for a full day geological adventure and workshop to learn how to ID rocks, to understand basic geological principles, various rock minerals, fossilization and much more. There will be a hands-on interaction with a variety of rocks and minerals, as well as a short guided walk in the reserve.
