⚗️🧪 Chemistry came alive at Cingani Senior Secondary School!

On 26 May 2026, the Outreach Team visited Cingani SSS for an exciting and educational Titration Practical session with the learners. The session gave learners the opportunity to step into the world of scientific investigation by performing hands-on experiments and strengthening their understanding of Chemistry concepts taught in the classroom. 🔬✨

Learners were guided through the titration process, learning how to accurately measure solutions, observe color changes, record results, and apply scientific methods just like real scientists! The practical session encouraged teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving, and confidence in the laboratory environment. 💡📚

The energy, enthusiasm, and curiosity shown by the learners made the session truly memorable and inspiring. It is always exciting to see young minds engaging with STEM through interactive learning experiences. 🚀🌟

🚀🧪 What an exciting two days at the Centre!

On 26 and 27 May 2026, a vibrant group of Grade 4–7 learners visited the Centre for an action-packed Science Show and Coding Session! 💻✨

The learners explored the Centre, discovered the wonders of STEM, enjoyed exciting experiments, and had fun learning new coding skills through interactive activities. From curiosity to creativity, the energy and excitement were unforgettable! 🌟

Today, we welcomed learners from James Ndulula Primary School for an exciting educational visit where they experienced the wonders of STEM through an engaging Science Show 🔬🧪 and an interactive Coding Class 💻🤖.

The learners explored new ideas, developed problem-solving skills, and enjoyed hands-on activities designed to make learning both fun and meaningful. 🚀✨

🔌📖 Bringing science to life through practical learning!

On 21 May 2026, the Outreach Team visited Douglas Mbopa Senior Secondary School for a Grade 10 Physical Sciences practical on the *Verification of Ohm’s Law*. ⚡🧪

Learners actively participated in the investigation by measuring current and voltage in electrical circuits to better understand the principles of resistance and electricity. 💡🔬

The practical session encouraged teamwork, critical thinking, and hands-on learning, helping learners strengthen their understanding of scientific concepts taught in the classroom. 👩🏽‍🔬👨🏽‍🔬

Through outreach programmes like these, we continue to promote quality STEM education and inspire the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers. 🌍🚀

🔬📚 From 18 – 22 May 2026, the Nelson Mandela Bay Science & Technology Centre had the pleasure of hosting learners from Emfundweni Primary School for an engaging and educational STEM experience.

📅 Grade 4 learners attended on 18 May
📅 Grade 5 learners attended on 19 May
📅 Grade 6 learners attended on 20 May
📅 Grade 7 learners attended on 21 May

We also welcomed Harvest Primary School Grade 5 learners on 19 May 2026 for an exciting day of learning and exploration. 🌟

During their visit, learners participated in an interactive Science Show, attended a Coding Class, and explored the Centre’s educational exhibits. 💻🧪✨

These activities were designed to encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a greater interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). We appreciate the opportunity to inspire and empower young learners through hands-on learning experiences. 🌍🚀
