As we stand on the threshold of a new year, we pause to reflect with gratitude, pride, and renewed purpose.
Ubuntu Wildlife Trust, together with our supporters around the world, we remain deeply committed to the protection of our natural heritage and the communities who live alongside it. Our ongoing support of Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife reserves—particularly the dedicated Anti-Poaching Units—continues to play a vital role in safeguarding our iconic species. The courage, sacrifice, and tireless commitment of these rangers inspire us every day.
We are equally proud to continue our support for rhino orphanage initiatives, ensuring that the most vulnerable victims of poaching are given a second chance at life, healing, and a future back in the wild.
Conservation cannot exist without community, and this year we have been honoured to stand behind local youth and sports development. Our support for the Shining Stars Football Team and the Hluhluwe Social Rugby Club, including the Under-18s, reflects our belief that strong communities, empowered young people, and shared opportunity are the foundation of long-term conservation success.
As we say goodbye to this year, we would like to thank every ranger, volunteer, donor, partner, and community member who has walked this journey with us. Your support makes protection possible, hope tangible, and impact real.
We look forward to an awesome 2026—one filled with resilience, unity, and continued progress for wildlife and people alike.
With gratitude and hope for the year ahead,
Ubuntu Wildlife Trust
