One year, one country, and so many places I never thought I’d get to see. ✈️🇺🇸
One of the most unforgettable parts of my au pair year was getting to travel and explore the US whenever I had the chance.
I travelled to 21 States during my year including New York City, California, Las Vegas, Seattle and Hawaii, I got to experience so many completely different places, cultures and landscapes. 🌴🌊🗽
But what made these trips even more special were the people I got to share them with. Some of the friends I met during my au pair year became such an important part of my life, and there are so many memories that simply wouldn’t be the same without them. 🫶
Looking back, this year gave me so much more than a chance to live in America. It pushed me out of my comfort zone, taught me to be independent, helped me grow as a person and gave me memories I’ll probably be talking about for years.
I came to America for a year — but I’m leaving with a lifetime of memories. 🤍🇺🇸✨
