Shibula Lodge & Bush Spa Shibula Lodge and Bush Spa, is a five star accredited lodge in the big 5 Welgevonden Private Game Reserve in the Limpopo Province, South Africa.

This malaria free rugged wilderness was an area where Paul Kruger, founder of the Kruger National Park, had allocated farmland to argumentative politicians to keep them occupied. Our Lodge offers the discerning visitor Africa in all its untamed magnificence, along with truly superb standards of warm hospitality.

The guests headed out on a late drive yesterday due to a rain storm but this worked in their favour as they were lucky enough to see a female cheetah with four cubs and lions feeding on a kill. Great evening in the bush.

Nothing beats sitting and relaxing with a nice cup of coffee listening to the beautiful calls of the woodlands kingfisher and the black-backed puff back on a lovely summer morning. Life is bliss in the bush.

Was a Morning for the big and grey as our guests were treated to some wondeful elephant and rhino sightings. last night raised the bar high as the guests were fortunate enough to see the southern pride of lions not to far from our lodge...

Another wonderful weekend in the Waterberg. The lovely summer days are approaching fast as our guests relax and enjoy the day relaxing by the pool watching the game come to our water hole for a drink

We were treated to a wondeful afternoon drive yesterday as we got to see Rhino,elephant,zebra,giraffe and to top it off a a beautiful cheetah feeding on a kill only a few metres from the road. good day in the bush

Sorry for the long silence but life is back in full. The lodge has been beautifully repainted and we have a full lodge in house. Sightings were amazing last night Rhino, lion and TWO different leopard sightings rite close to the lodge
