Situated 10km from Vanrhynsdorp Western Cape at the foot of the Maskam berg, Maskam Guest farm offers Namaqualand hospitality, service and excellent Vanrhynsdorp accommodation. Maskam Guest Farm is an ideal place to unwind on the peaceful farm and a welcome oasis for travellers on the N7 Cape to Namibia route. Guests enjoy the veranda with the panoramic mountain views of the surrounding Maskam and

Gifberg mountains, it is an ideal spot for bird watching. The magnificent sunsets and galaxy of stars and fresh air are appreciated by many guests. During Winter/Spring the farm is a caleidoscope of color with flowers. The PH level of the soil is what makes this area so unique with a diversity of flowers and we are fortunate to have the Nama-Karoo flowers, succulents, fynbos in the mountains as well as rare species of bulbs. Mountain bikes are available for the sportive and on horseback a wonderful trip could be made through the veld. The children love the pony and trekker rides as well as the various farm animals. The mountain can be accessed through hiking or the 4x4 route. With only 290km from Cape Town on the N7 Cape to Namibia route, all these facilities are available 12 months of the year!

Bitter opgewonde om aan te kondig dat Buttercup en Milaika terug is by Maskam Guest Farm ♥️🐴

Na Buttercup se suksesvolle opleiding is ons ongelooflik trots op haar. Milaika het deur ’n baie moeilike tyd gegaan met koliek, maar is gelukkig nou volkome herstel. Ná die insident het ons hul kampie opgeknap deur die doringbome en peule te verwyder, en daar is nog groot dinge oppad.

Daar was werklik engele van mense wat na hulle omgesien het gedurende hul tyd in Koekenaap – nie net tydens Buttercup se opleiding nie, maar ook deur die moeilike tyd met Milaika se koliek. Dit sal vir altyd onthou en opreg waardeer word.🙏

Almal op die plaas is oorstelp van vreugde om hulle weer te sien, en elke runnik word met ’n hart vol vrede en dankbaarheid ontvang. Mag elke gas by Maskam Guest Farm ook die geleentheid kry om hierdie merries te ontmoet en hul liefde te ervaar.🤩
