It is 4 and a half hours drive from Cape Town and an Hour and a half from Vredendal. This is the perfect place to just relax and get in touch with nature. Booking is essential as there is no water and water needs to be taken to the Kaya so that quest can shower. This is

the ideal family get a way if you have small children. The children can play on the beach and in the rock pools while you enjoy a glass of wine and keep an eye over them and just relax. If you are planning on visiting Jurgs Kaya, make sure that you bring enough drinking water, bedding and something warm, because it can get quite cold at night. This Kaya known as "Antie Poppie se kaya" was once a old Caravan. Antie Poppie and Oom Jannie used to come here all the time. When the Caravan got very rusted, the caravan was removed and replaced with the Wooden Kaya that is now Known as "Antie Poppies Kaya".
