Exploring some of Wellington's wonders today!

We were thrilled to host 11 delegates from the SATSA annual conference for a memorable day showcasing our beautiful town:

𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽: Immersing ourselves in rich local botanicals with the amazing Giselle at the South African Fynbos Experience.

𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁: A refreshing and beautiful guided walk with Dominique.

𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽: Unwinding with an exquisite wine tasting and lunch hosted by Johan at the scenic Doolhof Wine Estate.

Our front-of-house teams are the heart and soul of the wine tourism experiences here in Wellington.

Following last year’s successful Duke Proetafel experiences, Wellington Wines is excited to bring back this much-loved food-and-wine series - this time with chef Monique Nienaber leading the kitchen.

This is not a hands-on cooking class where guests prepare the food themselves. Instead, it’s a relaxed demonstration-style food-and-wine experience where you can sit back, watch, learn, taste and enjoy. Monique will share her knowledge, cooking techniques and love of fresh, seasonal flavours while preparing a beautiful 3-course meal, each course paired with wines from our portfolio.

Expect delicious food, perfectly paired wines, warm hospitality, good company and plenty of inspiration to take home with you.

Hosted in the 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝘃𝗹𝗲𝗶 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿 on Bainskloof Road, Wellington, the Duke Proetafel takes place on:
