Little Acres Friendly owner family managed. Two self catering units, both one bedroomed with open plan lounge/kitchenette. One room, booked as room only.

Set in an idyllic lush 1,2ha garden, secured with an electric fence & ample safe parking. Central to all major hotels & conference facilities in the Central Drakensberg. You can find us easily on the main R600 road in the Valley shortly after the Nest Hotel.

Today I dropped off cleaning supplies for our Estcourt Animal Shelter. They recently received donations from the Polar Bear swim fund raiser and when asked, said they need these items.
Little Acres and Spence Accounting are proud to join forces and assist our shelter.
I challenge all hospitality colleagues, friends and followers to reach out to your local charity and ask how you can assist. Every little bit helps.

Everyday is a blessing to be able to live in the countryside. Take a look at the large noisy traffic jam making their way to be my neighbour for a while.

Coldest morning yet this year. -2 degrees. Dogs pool frozen.
Our guests left early to attend the Impi motor bike challenge, hope it warms up by the time they reach the starting point. (Luckily in cars up to that point)

I had a sneaky suspicion that with the warm night, sudden drop in temp this morning and slight precipitation, that there might be snow when the clouds lifted. There it is, a light dusting over injisuthi side.
Turning into a glorious day, and even better is that some aloes are starting to open and the birds have noticed.(black headed oriole on this one)
