ANOTHER BREede RIVER GIANT FOR 15-YEAR-OLD DAVID!

15-year-old David Strauss showing that age is no barrier when it comes to chasing big Kob on the Breede River!

David got his hands on this impressive Kob during his trip with Salt Fishing Charters. A seriously memorable catch for a young angler — and hopefully the first of many more river giants to come.

The first Kob of the 2026 season is officially on the board!

Our client got the season off to an incredible start on the Breede River with this absolute beauty of a Kob. There’s nothing quite like that feeling when the first big Kob of the season comes aboard — especially when you’re out on the Breede chasing these powerful river giants.

NON-STOP BREEDE RIVER ACTION WITH OOM JOHAN!

What a way to end another epic fishing adventure! 😎🐟

The action was **absolutely insane** — with **3 big kob hooked in the space of just ONE MINUTE!**

We managed to land 2 of the 3, but the third one unfortunately got a visit from the **tax collector… a hungry bull shark! 🦈 You win some, you lose some!

And then, on his **final day**, just when we thought the trip couldn't get any better, Oom Johan landed a BIG kob just before sunset!

What an incredible way to finish the trip — ending on a massive high note!

But this isn't the end… 👀

Oom Johan is coming back again this season, and this time he's after the BIG ONE — a 100-pounder!

Will he get it? There's only one way to find out…
