It's been a brutal week.
Our hearts are with everyone who has lost so much in this week's flood.
We are so so grateful that all our staff and our families are safe. We will pick ourselves up again and rebuild. Resilience is at our core and rebuild we will. Stronger together. 💛
Many of our staff houses were flooded along with our two guesthouses. Orchard Stay had water around 10cm deep and Orchard View waist deep.
Access onto Platvlei Farm is very restricted at the moment with a large section of Platvlei road that needs to be rebuilt.
We have cancelled bookings for the next month for Orchard Stay guests so that we can have the house more than 100% ready to host again. Orchard View renovations are still being completed, we now just have a few more things added to the list 😉
