Higgins and Lady are two Rhinos who had their horns, brutally hacked off during a poaching incident at Fairy Glen Reserve. They survived the incident, but were badly injured causing Higgins to lose nearly 80% of his eyesight.
With that in mind “Rocking for Rhinos” wants to create awareness, and to raise funds for the Higgins project, by hosting a Rock and Blues concert at Hillcrest Wine Estate in Durbanville on Sat 5 and Sun 6 May. All proceeds will go to the rehabilitation of these rhinos, Higgins and Lady. Tickets are available at Computicket.

Yes, we are aware of the unfortunate cases where people already donated big funding in alledged scemes where individuals may collect millions of rands, dollars, euros ect. With emotional photos and heart breaking scenes of Rhino slaughtering for there own account. This must be avoid at all times and the Public must please keep to the legal rules and donate to Trusted Organizations as recommended by SABC, 50/50 on there web page. Please share this on Facebook.

WORLD RHINO DAY.poaching is a huge problem and must be avoid at all times.another problem, it appears that owners of reserves and rhinos plan their own slaughter of rhinos,not only for their horns but also to collect funds all over the world for their own benefit.This can become the most serious crime against the rhino population to kill them under the trade name SLAUGHTER BY POACHERS
