Eleven year old Kimberly Chimunda from Darling has been taking art lessons twice a month over the last year with Yzerartroute's Ami Smuts.

He is being sponsored by retired teacher and ex-Yzerfontein Tourism official, a much loved local ms Elsa Wolfaardt.

Join us for a very special afternoon celebrating South African art, talented artists and a cause that matters.

On Saturday, 24 October 2026, Marmi Art will host the 2026 West Coast Art Competition Prize-Giving, Exhibition and Charity Auction at the beautiful Strandkombuis and The Gallery at Strandkombuis in Yzerfontein.

A selection of artworks will be auctioned, with proceeds from the charity auction going towards the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI), supporting the vital work of those who respond when people are in danger at sea.
