It’s flower season on the Weskus🌼

Here are a few tips to make the most of your wildflower adventure:
🌺 Aim for sunny days. Blooms open best between 10:30 am and 3:30 pm.
🌹 Weekends are particularly busy, so if you can, come through on a weekday.
🌸 Start your trip a little earlier to avoid the crowds.
🌷 Stick to public viewing areas and avoid private farms and properties.
🌻 Make a day of it (or stay over). Flower Season’s best enjoyed at a relaxed pace, and there's lots to do nearby.
🌼 If you're visiting Postberg: download and complete the Gate Registration Form beforehand to avoid delays at the gate.

Behind the scenes with Hans Esterhuizen, a Livingstone Academy student training to be a tour guide. For his research project, Hans chose YFT1, the incredible middle stone age archaeological site at the entrance to Yzerfontein Harbour. He scripted and filmed a 10 minute presentation about its fascinating history and origins.
A big thank you to Rupert Joone for sharing valuable insights to help Hans with his research. We wish Hans everything of the best on his journey! Thank you for shining a light on one of Yzerfontein's core historical landmarks 🌊
