🐋 A Whale of a Time with Yzerfontein Sea Sport!

We recently swapped our flip-flops for boat shoes and headed out to Dassen Island for an absolute cracker of a day! Flip Flops Villa and Perron FM 95.1 joined forces with Yzerfontein Sea Sport for a trip that we won’t soon forget.

From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. Our skipper wasn't just at the helm; he’s a true expert on the area, sharing fascinating insights into the history of Dassen Island that kept us all captivated.

The highlight? We were spoilt with massive bonuses in the form of multiple Humpback and Southern Right Whale sightings! 🌊🐳 Seeing these majestic giants up close is a soul-stirring experience that everyone should have at least once.

Goodness me! We’ve heard of a "sweet tooth", but this is a whole new level! 🍭

It looks like our latest guests at Flip Flops Villa had quite the energetic stay. After a single day, we noticed we miss a mountain of about 50 empty sugar sachets! Whether they were fueling up for a long walk along the Yzerfontein shoreline or just really, really enjoy their morning coffee, they certainly left with a buzz.

We might need to double our sugar order for the next visit! ☕️✨
