Working as a teacher in rural zambia for the past few years has opened me up to the struggles that so many children go through to attain education. Long walks to school, lack of basic needs, child headed homes etc This has resulted to a lot of them dropping out.
I see how parents will work tirelessly just to be able to buy books for their children, I have also seen how my fellow teachers will get money form their own pockets just to sponsor children in their schools.
Sometimes you want to do more but get overwhelmed because you can’t help everyone. I have therefore teamed up with my colleagues to start this initiative.

Our goal is to reach out to underprivileged children in our community and hope to spread out across Zambia, by connecting them with sponsors, donors or partners.

I have personally done some charity work and sponsored some children I teach, some of them are now in university, I thought this was the right time to spread out and formalize it.

I have also seen the amazing opportunities that education can bring and I feel that every child should be given that opportunity regardless of their background.
