THIS JUST IN: SOUTH AFRICA AIRWAYS SUSPENDS INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT.

SOUTH African Airways will suspend all international operations with immediate effect until the end of May 2020 in response to a government travel ban aimed at stopping the transmission of COVID-19.

The decision means South African Airways will only render services on its regional and dosmetic routes.

The Barotse Royal Establishment (BRE) has Cancelled the 2020 Kuomboka ceremony which was scheduled to take place next month on 4th April, 2020.

Addressing a press briefing this afternoon at 15:30 hrs in limulunga Royal Village Ngambela of Barotseland, Mr. Mukela Manyando told the Media that the 2020 kuomboka ceremony which was scheduled to take place on 4th April, 2020. will no longer be be held due to the raising cases of Corona virus.

Ngambela Mukela Manyando said though the Kuomboka ceremony was not only a prestigious ceremony but also an economic booster to the people of Barotseland it was important to cancel the event so as to save the lives of the people.
