President Hakainde Hichilema officially opened the inaugural Invest Zambia International Conference (IZIC) 2025, highlighting Zambia’s commitment to a stable, transparent, and investor-friendly environment. His keynote focused on economic reforms, international partnerships, inclusive growth, and a strong invitation to explore Zambia’s tourism—urging delegates to visit sites like Victoria Falls, national parks, and heritage landmarks.
Held under the theme “Driving Generational Transformative Investments through Joint Ventures and Partnerships”, IZIC 2025 is taking place from 16–18 July at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre, drawing over 1,000 delegates and 63 exhibitors across sectors such as energy, mining, agriculture, ICT, tourism, and infrastructure.
President Hichilema reaffirmed Zambia’s commitment to debt restructuring, legal reform, and public-private collaboration—stating clearly: Zambia is open for transformative partnerships and sustainable growth.
Zambia is streamlining the processes to lessen bureaucratic hurdles and established strong platforms for public–private dialogue. to ensure policy clarity and consistency. Strategically land-linked at the heart of Southern and Central Africa, Zambia is a gateway to a market of over 400 million people. With rich mineral resources—copper, cobalt, lithium, and manganese—combined with high potential in agriculture, energy, and tourism, and a legacy of peaceful democratic transitions, Zambia presents exceptional investment opportunities.
