ONCE IN A LIFETIME MOMENT: ICC World Cup Trophy in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

"Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) on Tuesday welcomed the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup Trophy amid pomp and fanfare in the country’s resort town of Victoria Falls where the coveted international silverware made its 12th international stop since July.

The trophy, which was brought in from South Africa by ICC marketing and promotions officer Gurjit Singh, was received by national team players Brendan Taylor, Hamilton Masakadza and Prosper Utseya, ZC chairman Wilson Manase, Victoria Falls mayor Sifiso Mpofu, among other officials, fans and budding players.

Manase was excited about the organisation’s arrangement to have the trophy gracing the resort town before flying it to the capital the same day for a parade around the city before a brief display at the country’s home of cricket, Harare Sports Club." ZImbabwe Mail
