Some years ago, we - Julia and Blake – met on a Safari and we soon realized we both shared a passion for outdoors, wildlife and local people in Africa. At the beginning of 2015, we both took 5 months out of our busy schedules and travelled with our tent across five countries in Southern Africa. On this incredible journey, we visited countless wildlife projects, game parks, safari areas, orphanages
, schools and communities. On one hand, we felt the desire to make the Africa we experienced more accessible to people all over the world to get the same incredible impressions we got, visiting home away from home. Having said that we also realized it is time to protect Africa’s most important resources – the local communities and the wildlife – to sustain these incredible countries for future generations. We spent hours discussing – how to give people the chance to experience the Africa as it really is, how we could improve the quality of life for local communities through their biggest natural resource – wildlife: a few months later “Adventourizim” was born.
