Adventourizim - Adventure Tours Zimbabwe We at Adventourizim want to put Zimbabwe back on the tourism map as one of the prime destinations to visit for safaris, researching and volunteering.

Some years ago, we - Julia and Blake – met on a Safari and we soon realized we both shared a passion for outdoors, wildlife and local people in Africa. At the beginning of 2015, we both took 5 months out of our busy schedules and travelled with our tent across five countries in Southern Africa. On this incredible journey, we visited countless wildlife projects, game parks, safari areas, orphanages

, schools and communities. On one hand, we felt the desire to make the Africa we experienced more accessible to people all over the world to get the same incredible impressions we got, visiting home away from home. Having said that we also realized it is time to protect Africa’s most important resources – the local communities and the wildlife – to sustain these incredible countries for future generations. We spent hours discussing – how to give people the chance to experience the Africa as it really is, how we could improve the quality of life for local communities through their biggest natural resource – wildlife: a few months later “Adventourizim” was born.

This is how Elephants react when they suddenly realize you are standing right in front of them. Like two school boys being caught reading the neighbors fruit trees. 🤣🤣🤣
The same morning we followed a lone lioness into thick Jess bush. In a flash and a blur she came and went amidst blood curdling growls. What an amazing experience for my guests and I. It is a very primal feeling walking in the bush knowing there are lions, Buffalo and elephant, in their domain, under their terms ..... not for the faint hearted but an incredible experience and it will change the way you look at Safaris. This is true Africa and how we like to do it, on foot and up close!

Another highlight in this beautiful country.. Lake Kariba. We didn't catch any fish... but had delicious homemade bread, fresh Kariba lobster and this incredible sunset. And our little beautiful campsite directly at the lake! 😍

We were off the beaten track and had an unbelievable authentic African experience with a night at a Tonga village ... farmers showed us their gardens, cooked traditional dinner sadza ne nyama with us and we learned everything about their culture...first hand.... including dancing! A true and priceless experience!

Not only the Zimbabwean side of Victoria Falls are impressive... Blake has a fantastic time with our guests and took them also to the Zambian side. The Falls are 1,708m wide and 108m high - there is no chance to stay dry!

We are back from the bush with unforgettable experiences... the first day was full of activities and the agents loved it... anti poaching activities like visiting anti poaching unit, patrol flights in a bush plane, an exciting canoe trip, game drives, site inspection at the campsite and the lodges, tracking and survival skills and an amazing African sunset... we had the most beautiful day with lots of fun and laughter! All that was possible !

is back and ready for a new and exciting safari season 2019 - Follow us ... we have an exciting start into the new season... a special fam trip !

Thanks to PanNatura for all the cooperation and for bringing ten German Agents joining us for a great Fam Trip in the Zambesi Valley. We are excited to have the opportunity to show them what Adventourizim and Zimbabwe have to offer! Over the next five days we will guide them at zambezi valley safaris and then via the mighty Sambesi River moving down to Mana Pools and finishing in Harare. We will keep you updated as best as we can with the intermittent WiFi.
