BUNGEE JUMP VS GORGE SWING

These two are very close competitors in the adrenaline game.
Here is what you need to knowšŸ‘‡šŸ¼

šŸ“ŒLOCATION
These activities are situated at different places. The bungee jump is done from the famous Victoria Falls Bridge whilst the gorge swing is done off the gorge. Both with the river flowing below!!

šŸ“THE HEIGHT OF THE JUMP
The bungee jump is a whopping 111 meters and is one of the highest jumps in the world.
The gorge swing is 120 meters high. You will be suspended in a free fall for almost 4 seconds. The free fall covers 70meters and ends with a gentle sway over the Zambezi River.

šŸŖ¢THE HARNESS
Two harnesses are attached to your body during the bungee jump, one to your ankles and another one to your body.
For the gorge swing, a harness is attached to the jumpers waist and upper body, then the other end of which is pivoted to the middle of the cable.
Trained professionals make sure that safety is the priority at both activities.

LIVING LIFE ON THE EDGE!!!

Devilā€™s Pool, a steep precipice and an up-close-and-personal view of the sheer drop off the side of the Falls ā€“ is indeed the ultimate infinity pool!

It takes a rocky walk and swim in the Zambezi to reach the pool before slipping into the adrenalin-pumping swimming hole. Those fearless enough to leap into the pool get pushed to the edge by the force of the river, with the rock lip bringing them to a halt as the raging waters of the Zambezi crash over the close-by cliffs.

The view from the edge is totally exhilarating as you feel the force of the Zambezi River flowing past you and crashing down over the 100-metre / 320-foot drop!

The over 500-million litres / 132-million gallons of water that cascade over the Falls every minute are not to be messed with, so this activity is only open at certain times of the year and must be booked with a guide. It is usually accessible during low-water season from about August to January.
