🌿 Zambezi National Park: An Afternoon of Wild Wonders 🦁

There’s something deeply humbling about an afternoon in the Zambezi National Park—and our most recent game drive reminded us just how extraordinary this place truly is.

Our journey began with some classic bush favourites: elephants, giraffes, impalas, and a variety of vibrant birdlife. The landscape was painted in golden light, and the Zambezi River glided alongside us in quiet majesty.

But then came the moments that leave a mark…

🦁 Two beautiful lionesses were resting in the shade, completely unbothered by our presence. One of them yawned—a slow, powerful stretch of the jaw that revealed her fearsome, magnificent teeth. A rare and breathtaking sight we were lucky to witness and capture.

Just when we thought the day couldn’t offer more, we came across what may have been a group of orphaned or lost lion cubs, nestled in a thicket. The light was fading fast, but we managed to snap a single image of one curious cub peering through the bush—a moment of quiet, wild vulnerability.

📸 All images were taken using a Canon 5D Mark IV with a 400mm zoom lens and a 70mm kit lens.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS: BABOON HEIST AT DK TOURS & SAFARIS! 🚨

Victoria Falls is a place where the wild and the urban blend seamlessly—where elephants casually stroll past petrol stations, warthogs handle our landscaping, and, as we recently discovered, baboons double as food critics.

This week, we had an unexpected visitor. A baboon—clearly on a mission—waltzed into our office like he owned the place, completely ignored our brochures (rude), and went straight for the fridge. And what did he select from our fine selection of modern refrigeration? Not the juice, not the leftovers—just a humble loaf of bread. A baboon with refined yet simple tastes.

The entire heist was caught on CCTV, and let’s just say, this guy had the confidence of a guest checking into a five-star hotel. He strolled in, did a quick quality inspection, swiped his carb-loaded prize, and made a smooth getaway—no tipping, no review, nothing. Talk about grab-and-go dining!

But hey, that’s the magic of Victoria Falls! Here, wildlife isn’t just something you see on safari—it’s part of daily life. Whether it’s elephants taking their morning stroll through town, monkeys pulling off mischievous antics, or baboons running off with our groceries, every day is a wild adventure.
