New camps and new styles. Was a great weekend working out in hwange with for a group of friends enjoying a 40th birthday. Thank you so much to .firma.dining for the inspiration on the cheese pan fried dessert.. and to Savannah pub in Ngamo, what a cool spot, cold beers and fresh cooked burgers. Hope you had a great bday Jen!

On Tuesday Lexi and I decided last minute to dash to Kazuma Pan before the rains really kicked in.. some seriously good Daddy Daughter time. The platform is fantastic and huge credit to Kiggen construction and Andrew Brown for building and maintaining the platform. It was the first time to Kazuma for me. The wild life is epic. Lots and lots of plains game, Buffalo and elephant. Jackal, and abundant bird life at the pan. I think the winds kept the cats at bay! Having left our pot we had to cook the noodles in a beer can.. what a great little over night experiance.

Then the rains came that night. Luckily we managed to get out!

Earlier this year I had an amazing opportunity to accompany some client friends of mine and go on a walking safari with Adam and francie from Inzila Safaris. Adam is a top notch guide with a quick wit to boot. His attention to detail is incredible and his camp set up is very unique. Its easy to use the word authentic, however Inzila Safari's oozes authenticity and I love the whole style.

After left after an amazing 4 years of amazing food at the BC I have taken over the batten. With big shoes to fill, mistakes made and a homemade wood braai we are slowly but surely getting the menu right..

You never gonna believe it, the story of the Buggered Kitchen continues… even though there has been around 300 mls of rain in the lower Zambezi have managed to rescue my dear horsebox. She is coming home! Thanks so much Road Angels karoi.

EOS the New vessel for is outstanding.. she is a work of art and a huge upgrade from the old challenger… I had many a great trip on Challenger but EOS is the next level. Well done to Cuan, Guy and all who have put so much energy and effort into coming back stronger after last seasons issues.. I am really proud to be a part of your story Rivergod. Friday Evening was a special one for me and all my team! Hosting a finale dinner for an Incredible company and friends of mine from Exclusive Touch Africa and their fantastic clients from all over the world.
