Fantastic Birding Experience
Our River and Ridges birding tour with Charles was one of the highlights of our trip! He was very responsive throughout the booking process and picked us up promptly on the morning of the tour. We had a wonderful time during the river portion, spotting both local and rare birds while enjoying freshly baked pastries and other refreshments. The carrot cake made by Charles’s wife was especially delicious! During the land portion, we saw a variety of birds of prey while taking in the region’s beautiful scenery. Among our favorite sightings were the Malachite Kingfisher, White-backed Night Heron, White-fronted Bee-eaters, African Skimmers, Goliath Heron and a pair of Martial Eagles. In total, we spotted more than 60 species. Charles made sure we had an excellent view of each bird and plenty of time to take photographs. I would highly recommend this tour to birding enthusiasts and photographers looking to experience the natural beauty and wildlife of Victoria Falls!
