Sad to report that our little 'flocks' of frequently seen resident Brown (Meyer's) Parrot, and the Brown-necked (Grey-headed) Parrot are now very seldom seen here at Vic Falls, and along their breeding grounds on the Zambezi River Islands - their home paradise. A rapid decline over the past 15 years... we no longer hear their raucous flock screams as part of the dawn chorus, from way off. What joy is there to take an animal from the Wild & CAGE IT for the rest of its miserable life... Certain people are born without a soul or animal compassion. Driven entirely by selfish greed... PLEASE REPORT ANY WILD CAUGHT AFRICAN PARROTS TO US - ASAP.
