🏆 Congratulations to Whitsunday Sailing Club

Whitsunday Sailing Club has continued to grow participation through innovative programs and strong community engagement. This year, the club expanded its Discover Sailing Program into school holiday sailing camps, launched a School Sport Program and introduced a SailPass membership option, creating clear pathways for people to get involved and stay involved in the sport.
Through partnerships, youth sponsorship initiatives, regular social events and volunteer training, WSC has increased participation and strengthened member engagement. A targeted promotional strategy and collaboration with Abell Point Yacht Club have further expanded the club's reach across the region.
The club has also strengthened governance through updated policies, procedures and constitutional reforms, while investing in major infrastructure projects, including a new marina and hardstand. These developments position WSC to host future world-class events, grow Airlie Beach Race Week and support the region's Olympic aspirations.
Committed to sustainability and inclusion, WSC actively supports solar initiatives, recycling programs, community clean-up days with Ocean Crusaders, and accessible sailing through Sailability Whitsundays.
