It’s back again soon and I’m proud to be supporting Free Trade Day once again.

🌟 FREE TRADE DAY | OCT 25 – HOW IT WORKS 🌟

At the heart of Free Trade Day, it’s about local tradies stepping up to help those who need it most across the Central Coast and the Toronto area. Since 2017, we’ve had incredible support from our community, and this year on October 25th, over 160 tradies will again give their time and skills, completely free of charge.

This is how it works: We take on essential jobs for people who are struggling financially, those who’ve been through personal hardship, or are living in unsafe conditions. Jobs that can change lives in just one day, like:
👨‍🔧Fixing leaking roofs and faulty wiring.
👨‍🔧Carpentry work like repairing dangerous decks or fixing broken doors.
👨‍🔧Tiling jobs to ensure safe, stable floors and bathrooms.
👨‍🔧Painting to get rid of mould, creating healthier living spaces.
👨‍🔧Cleaning for homes that have become unmanageable.
👨‍🔧Installing hot water systems for those living without basic services.

We know some of the biggest battles are fought by those who don’t ask for help themselves. The pool filter had died and it was the perfect time to get stuck into a big rip out and rebuild around it before the owners got the pool back in order.

Old failed walls and falling down fences are now keystone and capped walls with all new footings topped with new fencing of hardwood features and aluminum to suit the bush setting.

Back at Norah Head, you might recognise the pool yard and fencing from a previous update.

We’ve been back to install this amazing deck bringing the entertaining space to the pool yard height for continual flow and sense of size.

A soggy unusable lawn no more - major drainage works went into this one (scroll through to check out what’s under the green), before levelling and turf installation.

We also installed river stone and paver side path - so using the whole block of land is a good foot experience.

A pool fence right behind the pool on top of a garden not being seen or enjoyed.

We added a deck behind the existing paving to create more space to enjoy the pool and reinstalled the fencing with it.

The garden had lost some appeal and control and it’s now tidied up, cleared out, newly planted and mulched.

Relatively new build with established back lawn- but a pool is coming and everything that can be done around that is now done.

We’ve done the front yard, and now majority of the back and we’re keen to get stuck into the pool finish off - watch this space!

Old sloped yard to flat, retained lawn envy.

Major modernisation of the front yard, retaining the face with drainage and silt prevention with a capped top.

Levelling and filling the yard before installing a fantastic new lawn.

Big slope, big job! But not too big for us.

We brought in a 2tonne excavator and came in from the top to dig out the bank for terraced retaining walls.

Engineered to last with major depth to account for the extensive height of the walls.

Customers turfed the levels after completion providing space for the kids to play.

This one came up beautiful with a concrete sleeper path installed next to the driveway for pedestrian access, stack stone columns and tiled verandahs front and back.
