Day 14 /59 -Wow, wow wow! Our captain decided to alter our route slightly and took us on a 8 hour scenic cruise of Prince Christian sound as we headed toward our first port of Greenland.

We had sunshine and the scenery was incredible. Icebergs, growlers (small chunks of ice) whales, dolphins, seals and waterfalls..

So many photos and videos - can't possibly post them all. But here is a sample as I wanted to share this special place with you all. Enjoy!

Day 7/59.. Honningsvag Norway

Our last port before heading to Reykjavik Iceland.

Honningsvåg is located on the island of Magerøya, surrounded by rich Arctic waters.

Honningsvåg may be small, but it pulses with Arctic charm—bright wood buildings lining its harbor and from here you can have direct access to North Cape which makes it a unique destination. We decided against going to North Cape and wandered around town. Was a good call as it is not every day that you see a reindeer just wandering around town !

As you can see fishing has been the backbone of the local economy for centuries, and even today, it remains a vital industry. Mind you we were looking at trying some King Crab but for $250 AUD for a sandwich we decided to pass 😂

Whether you're there for nature, history, or Arctic culture, this town offers a memorable slice of life above the Arctic Circle.

Day 4 / 59. Port 2 Skjolden Norway.

This stunning little port sits at the very end of the Sognefjord — the longest and deepest fjord in Norway (and the second longest in the world).

We sailed in through a breathtaking 204km stretch of fjord — the journey itself was part of the magic. It began with a bright, sunny morning that slowly turned misty and mysterious as fog rolled in. Then, just as suddenly, the fog lifted to reveal the most spectacular scenery: towering cliffs, still waters, and vibrant green hills surrounding us on all sides.

What an unforgettable place — raw, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful.

When in Doha... you breakfast like royalty 👑🍽️

We tucked into the most delicious Arabic shared breakfast plate – and wow, what a feast! Think Turkish shakshuka, foul, creamy hummus, beetroot dip, labneh with za'atar, and a Qatari-style shakshuka that packed a punch.

Add in a vibrant salad plate with crispy falafel, pickles, and olives… a fresh fruit, cheese, and nut platter… warm bread straight from the oven… and the sweetest date dessert to finish.

As some of you may have heard, the packages and prices for Princess Cruises have changed as of 22 July 2025.
The image below shows Princess Cruises' new packages ⬇️🛳️

One main change is that the Plus package has changed its 15 drinks inclusion to include now the non alcoholic beverages, tea and coffee, plus the alcohol. Meaning that the 15 drinks a day include all of these in the count. Water is in addition to this and not in the count
It has caused a bit of chatter in the forums. What do you think?
