On Friday night I spent the evening celebrating one of my oldest friend’s milestone birthdays. The beautiful ladies with me in this photo have been in my life for decades and we have shared many adventures together - life events (great through to the most challenging), naughtiness, travel adventures and more. I love them dearly and they always have my back no matter what, as we always do for each other. Whenever I am with them it reinforces to me the importance of female friendship and strong connections that go beyond the every day, and who will support you through it all. I love that throughout the 17 years that Travelling Divas has existed so many wonderful friendships and connections have been formed. I just love it! When I started this business 17 years ago, little did I know the journey it would become. This business didn’t start on a whim. The idea was born through my personal experience of divorce, being in my mid 30’s with no kids and having nobody to travel with and nothing out there for women like me. It started because I wanted to support other women in the same situation, who wanted to explore the world and who wanted to be able to share the stories of their beautiful adventures with someone over dinner at night. But you can’t achieve these thing without amazing support. This post salutes the incredible women who have inspired and mentored me; the women I work with now and adore and of course, the incredible guests who choose to travel with us and who inspire me every day to do better. Our gorgeous annual sojourn to Jaipur for the incredible Jaipur Literature Festival is always a delight. Colour, culture and literature combined with private access events, spectacular authors and meet ups and divine dining keep us coming back again and again. The JLF is the largest literature festival on earth and never disappoints. Jaipur is beautiful, chaotic and all of the things you expect from this amazing city! 📸 tour guests (thank you x)

Luxury travel is taking on a bit of a different angle to my normal adventures! We are excited to be taking two of our beautiful grandkids on a Disney cruise. It’s such a privilege to be sharing this with them and this morning started with character meet ups and a little retail therapy for Mickey Mouse ears…. It is sublime - next stop Moana 2 movie time!
