A different kind of team day ❤️

Yesterday, the SJT team joined forces with four of our supplier partners for OzHarvest’s Cooking for a Cause program, with filming and voiceover by Kyah from The Travel Gap.

Together, we prepared 55 meals using rescued ingredients that couldn’t be sold by supermarkets due to damaged packaging or markings, despite still being perfectly good to eat (and absolutely delicious!). In the process, we also helped save 40kg of food waste from landfill.

Travel is all about connection, community and impact, and it was incredibly rewarding to spend the day doing something practical, meaningful and hands-on together.
