A new walkway for an old Cronulla favourite.

The wharf has been part of Cronulla’s story for generations, and now it’s getting a bit of an upgrade.

The new walkway is taking shape, giving locals and visitors a better way to get down to the water and enjoy one of Cronulla’s most iconic spots.

It’s always interesting seeing these changes happen in a place with so much history — the ferries, commuters, weekend adventures and plenty of memories along the way.

A little bit of old Cronulla, with a new path forward!

There’s something so special about our little corner of the world. From familiar faces and friendly waves to beautiful days spent on the water, it’s the community that makes Cronulla and the Port Hacking so special.

We’re so grateful to be part of it.

Is it really winter?! These perfect days on the water have us completely confused!

The sun is shining, the water is sparkling and Cronulla is looking pretty spectacular right now. We’ll happily take more days like this!

Who else has been making the most of these beautiful winter days?

You know you’re a true local when you can tell what sort of day it’s going to be by the ferry ride alone.

Calm water? Beautiful.

Bit of chop? Character building.

Wind blowing your hair into your mouth? Complimentary exfoliation.

Spot dolphins? Best day ever.

See someone you know on the wharf? Better than Facebook.

No matter the weather, there’s always a story, a familiar face or a little adventure waiting on the water!

That’s Cronulla Ferries. And we love it!

The weather’s been a bit how ya going lately!

But there’s nothing quite like a little wild weather to remind us how lucky we are to call Cronulla home.

Rainy days, windy days, sunny days — we’ll take them all when this is the view we get to enjoy!

Fresh from the slips and looking her absolute best!

Our beloved Curranulla is back on the water with a fresh coat of paint, ready to continue doing what she’s done for generations — connecting communities across Port Hacking.

Since 1939, she’s carried locals, visitors, school children, bushwalkers and countless memories between Cronulla & Bundeena. As Australia’s oldest commuter ferry still operating on a regular timetable, she’s so much more than a ferry — she’s a living piece of our local history. Here’s to preserving the traditions that make our community so special, and to many more years of seeing this beautiful timber ferry out on the water.
