It really is a small world!

Katie’s clients, Lance and Linda, Sue and Jeff and Jill and Eric, had a wonderful chance encounter when they discovered they were sitting together on the Rocky Mountaineer.

As it turns out, the couples had coincidentally booked their Rocky Mountaineer journey and a Regent Seven Seas Cruise with Katie.

Today, they’re continuing their adventures together in Icy Strait Point, Alaska. It’s always lovely when travel brings people together in unexpected ways.

Phil has just returned from an incredible journey through Switzerland, hosted by Switzerland Tourism, and it’s safe to say the country left quite an impression.

From the vibrant streets and luxury hotels of Zurich, to the breathtaking landscapes of Wengen, Grindelwald, Jungfraujoch and Mount Pilatus, every stop offered something special.

Highlights included exploring the Jungfrau Region, travelling through the Swiss Alps by train, visiting the iconic Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe, taking in the views from Mount Pilatus and experiencing an overnight stay high above Lake Lucerne.

While Zurich was a genuine surprise and a destination Phil would happily recommend, it was the Swiss Alps that stole the show.

“The scenery around Wengen, Grindelwald, Jungfraujoch and Pilatus was simply breathtaking.”

It was Phil’s first visit to Switzerland - but certainly won’t be his last!

Following her recent recognition as Virtuoso Travel's Most Admired Travel Advisor, our Managing Director Carole has been featured in the latest issue of Karryon: Together In Travel.

In the feature, Carole reflects on her journey in the travel industry. From the early days discovering her passion for cruising, to founding Bicton Travel in 1998 and growing the business into what is now – Bicton & Claremont Travel.

She also shares her thoughts on the evolution of luxury cruising, her favourite destinations and what continues to inspire her after decades in the travel industry.

🎉 And the winner is… Helen! 🎉

Earlier this year, we ran a Viking Cruises competition, giving one lucky person the chance to win an 8-day river or ocean cruise. We’re thrilled to announce that Helen is our lucky winner!

Helen recently visited our Claremont office to book her prize and will be taking her husband, Steve, along for the adventure.
