It’s Australian Made Week, and here at the Eden Visitor Information Centre we’re proud to stock a wide range of Australian Made gifts, souvenirs and locally crafted products.

Even better, we’re taking it one step closer to home by shining a spotlight on products made right here on the Sapphire Coast.

From handmade pieces and locally inspired keepsakes to products created by talented makers from our region, every local purchase helps support small businesses, artists and producers who make our area so special.

When you’re browsing in store, keep an eye out for our Local Product tags — they’re a great way to spot something made close to home.

Pop in, have a browse, and take home something with a real Sapphire Coast connection.

National Volunteer Week 2026

This National Volunteer Week, we would like to say a very heartfelt thank you to the wonderful volunteers who help make the Eden Visitor Information Centre such a welcoming place for locals and visitors alike.

Our volunteers are often the first friendly faces people meet when they arrive in Eden. They share local knowledge, answer questions, offer directions, recommend places to visit, and help visitors discover the many things that make Eden and the Sapphire Coast so special.

From busy cruise ship days along side our friends at Cruise Eden, to quieter winter mornings, our volunteers give their time, energy and care to support our community and promote our beautiful town. Their contribution is not just appreciated — it is essential.

The 2026 theme is “Your Year to Volunteer”, and it is a lovely reminder that volunteering can take many forms. Whether it is a regular shift, helping when available, or simply sharing a skill, every contribution makes a difference, so if you are interested in joining the team please reach out to us

To our EVIC volunteers: thank you for everything you do. We are incredibly lucky to have you as part of our team.

After a week of the Eden community proudly hosting Anthem of the Seas crew of over 1,500 wonderful people, whilst Anthem had some maintainance, she has sailed off, to pick up her passengers for her next adventure.
Local individuals, businesses and volunteer organisations like the awesome Mission for Seafarers and Cruise Eden have been making sure the entire crew who are very friendly feel right at home and the amazing local support teams from the Port Authority of NSW, Security, Border Force and tug operators have worked tirelessly to help make sure Anthem itself was safe and secure, so it could head off again as soon as possible to provide more great experiences for a new load of passengers.
We love having all of the visiting cruise lines and look forward to welcoming many more Royal Caribbean cruises into the future.

Azamara Pursuit will be at anchor and guests will travel on the ship's tender vessels into Quarantine Bay. All shuttle buses will operate from Quarantine Bay to town and shore excursion tours will leave and return to Quarantine Bay for the visit of Azamara Pursuit.

Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas is currently in port while maintainance is carried out on one of her Azipods. She is expected to remain alongside for a few days and will depart early Wednesday morning.

While there are unfortunately no onboard tours available, members of the public are very welcome to come down to the wharf area and see her up close — it’s not every day you get to stand near a ship of this scale.

At 347 metres long, Anthem of the Seas is a truly massive vessel — in fact, she is the largest cruise ship to operate in Australia. Even alongside with no passengers, she’s an impressive sight and well worth a visit for ship-spotters and curious locals alike.

Whilst down at the Port, make sure that you call into the Eden Visitor Information Centre, on the ground floor of the Eden Welcome Centre.

Anthem's crew of just over 1,500 people, are having wonderful time exploring Eden. We are really happy to have them all here.

The Eden Visitor Information Centre are looking for Volunteers. We would love to have you join the team, volunteering out of our amazing location right on the Port. Contact us for more information.
