I’m Going Back to Grapevine, Texas — Because One Night Was NOT Enough
I’m heading back to Grapevine, Texas this September with Visit Grapevine, and I’m genuinely excited, Because here’s the thing: I’ve already been to Grapevine this year. But I only had one night, And I can tell you now, one night in Grapevine is NOT enough!
That first visit gave me a taste, I left wanting to see more, So when the opportunity came up to return for six days, I didn’t need much convincing.
This time I’ll be exploring Historic Main Street, the Observation Tower, Grapevine Vintage Railroad, galleries, art studios and Nash Farm.
Then there’s the wine, And quite a lot of it!
I’ll be tasting at Landon Winery, experiencing GrapeFest, visiting the International Wine Experience and Champagne Terrace, and taking part in the GrapeStomp Competition. Yes, apparently I’m grape stomping. Stay tuned for that!!
Food is going to be a big part of the trip too, with Chez Fabien, Tolbert’s, H3 Ranch, Meat U Anywhere and Hop & Sting Brewing Co. on the itinerary.
And because this is Texas, there WILL be cowboy culture. We’re heading to the Fort Worth Stockyards for the famous cattle drive, visiting Cavender’s Western Shop and spending a night at H***y Tonk Thursday.
Do I need cowboy boots? I feel this may become an important research question.
There are a few surprises too: Meow Wolf’s The Real Unreal, Dig World, mini golf and mimosas at Cowboys Golf Club and a Dallas city tour.
But what I’m really interested in is what I’ll discover the second time around, this isn’t about ticking Grapevine off my list, I’m going back for a much closer look.
Thinking about Texas? Give me a call. I’ll be doing the research personally!
