🚨 Reminder: UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) Update 🚨

✈️ From 2nd April: EU/EFTA nationals (excluding Irish citizens) must obtain an ETA to travel to the UK. Applications are now open, with a current fee of £10 per person.

⏳ From 9th April: The ETA fee will increase to £16 for all nationalities requiring one.

European Union entry-exit system delayed again!

The EU’s new digital border system is expected to be delayed yet again.

It now won’t come online until after the summer peak travel period, in autumn.

The EU’s Entry/Exit System (EES) has suffered multiple delays already. The original launch date was nearly three years ago.

The initial digital registration is valid for three years. For additional trips within this period, only a fingerprint or photo verification is needed.

Planning a Trip to the UK?

Don’t let a denied boarding scenario ruin your holiday or business plans! With the new year comes new rules, and travellers now need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) digital waiver to enter the United Kingdom.

The process is quick and easy - simply register on the UK Government website or the UK ETA app. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta -for-an-eta

It’s just £10, payable via credit or debit card. It can take up to three working days to process, so don’t leave it to the last minute at the airport! Once approved, your ETA is valid for two years and allows multiple entries, so you’ll only need to reapply if you get a new passport. Plan ahead!
