✈️ EU Border Changes – What Aussies Need to Know from April 10

Australians travelling to Europe are being advised to allow extra time at airports as the European Union introduces new border control measures from April 10.

The new Entry/Exit System (EES) will apply to all non-EU travellers, including Australians, replacing traditional passport stamping with a more advanced digital system across the Schengen Area.

What’s changing?
• Fingerprints and facial scans will be collected on arrival
• Additional travel details may be required
• First-time registration could take a little longer
