To celebrate Volunteer Week, our teams from Hervey Bay and Maryborough Visitor Information Centres participated in a familiarisation tour of some of Maryborough’s iconic tourist attractions. This included visits to the Bond Store, the Gallipoli to Armistice Memorial, and the Military and Colonial Museum in the Portside Precinct. We also visited the Customs House Hotel, which is currently undergoing restoration, and enjoyed a delightful morning tea in the hotel’s beer garden.

Our volunteers are essential to our centre's operations, and this event provided a wonderful opportunity to express our gratitude for their invaluable support of FCTE business partners and their efforts to promote the tourism industry on the Fraser Coast.
