Located in City Hall, our centre welcomes regional visitors looking to explore our beautiful city. Our volunteer ambassadors provide valuable local knowledge that brings the city's stories to life.

Our Visitor Information Centre team recently joined in a highly anticipated familiarisation tour, where we visited the Fraser Coast Regional Council's new Community Hub. This included a look at the impressive new library facilities available to residents and visitors alike.

After enjoying a morning tea, our team also visited the fantastic new hostel presented by Hervey's at Hervey Bay. We learned about the various styles of accommodation and services they offer. Tours like these allow our team to stay current with product knowledge and strengthen our relationships with our centre partners.

It's Whale Festival day!!! Yay..the fun starts at City Park, Main Street at 2pm with lantern making stalls, touch tanks, mermaids and entertainment then moves into the evening as the parade moves along main street to Seafront Oval with rides and fireworks. Our team can't wait to see you soon 😁

Paddle Out for Whales is back this Sunday, August 30th, Torquay Beach. Our team will be onsite selling official merchandise and souvenirs. Why not grab a pair of Humpback socks from the Sydney sock project or a souvenir T-shirt celebrating Hervey Bay's amazing connection to the Eastern Humpaback Whale migration.
