🏔️ OMG Overland sold out in record time 🤯
🌿 Our first custom tour is coming up and we bloody can’t wait. Got something in mind? Don’t hesitate to reach out
👋 We’ve got some new guides joining the crew
🍝 We’re locking in menus and getting very serious about snacks
🥾 And generally just getting more and more bloody pumped for another season of epic women, big walks, good food and questionable amounts of goon in the wilds of Tasmania.

Season 2, we’re ready for ya 💛

Freycinet, Wineglass Bay, Walls of Jerusalem, Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, Overland Track

30/08/2026

Everyone’s seen Wineglass Bay from the lookout. Not everyone’s seen what’s beyond it 👀

Past the crowds, past the car park, past the tourists with the selfie sticks, Freycinet gets seriously quiet. Empty beaches. Campsites to ourselves. Swims in water so clear it feels unfair.

One of the biggest myths we bust at Solo Season is that Freycinet is a busy place. It’s not. If you’ve already been, it may be that you’ve just seen the bit everyone else sees.

Come see the rest 🌀

How many times have you caught yourself saying...
“Tomorrow.”
 “Next week.”
 “Next year.”
And then tomorrow comes. Next week comes. Next year comes. And the thing you wanted to do is still sitting on the list.
At some point, you’ve just got to back yourself and say yes.

Why not this season?
If you’ve been thinking about learning to multi-day hike, consider this your sign to join us down in Tasmania.
Learn the skills. Make the memories.

OMG Overland.

Save this. Share it. Spread the freaking word.

One departure. Six spots remaining. And we cannot contain ourselves. Solo Season is officially taking women onto the Overland Track !!

Six days. Five nights. 65km through Tasmania’s World Heritage wilderness. Alpine plateaus, ancient rainforest, glacial tarns, optional summit missions, cheese, goon sacks, and a group of women who will absolutely become your people.

Welcome dinner in Launceston the night before, because around here there are no strangers on day one. All the logistics handled. Just you, the trail, and the best kind of hard.

Perfect if you’ve got a trip or two under your belt and you’re ready for your biggest adventure yet. Or if you’ve always wanted to do the Overland and just wanted someone to handle the hard bits.

We opened this to our past guests and subscribers first and 4 spots have been snapped up before going public. So if you’re reading this, move fast. Head to the OMG Overland link in bio to download the detailed trip notes.

📅 19–25 January
🥾 6 spots remaining (small group of 10)

Can’t wait to take a group of Solo Seasoners onto this very special track! Hit us up with any questions you may have 🌞

Not on our mailing list yet? Get on it. Link in bio. Subscribers always get first access and a little something extra to sweeten the deal. 🌿🏔️

Okay, okay… you don’t have to be first. 🏃🏼‍♀️
But there is something pretty cool about being part of the very first Solo Season crew of the season. The sooner you get out there, the sooner you can start putting those shiny new hiking skills to use.

Come join our Freycinet Fun trip from 4pm on Wednesday the 28th October until Saturday the 31st October. We love this setup because you can have a Saturday night and Sunday in Hobart post hike!

We are seriously sooooo pumped to start the season off with a bang!!

Start your season with a new adventure, then spend the rest of the hiking season actually using what you’ve learnt. Sounds like a pretty good plan to us. 🥾

Remember we have got all Season 2 trips live on the website so you can plan ahead. You don’t have to sit there wondering when the next trip might be:) Check out an overview of our tour dates in the tour dates story highlight or head to our website! Link in bio.

Maybe you have some hiking friends who you know would love to step it up to overnight hiking. Share this with them 💓

July check in. One of us is doctoring and dodging crocodiles in Arnhem Land 🐊 The other is embracing the ‘hygge’ life and dodging cyclists in Copenhagen 🚲

Opposite sides of the world but both dodging something and deep in Solo Season planning mode. New season and new things and we cannot wait to share what’s coming 🔜

Should we share more of what we’re getting up to over the next few months??? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What the heck are your plans for Gooch Week? 🍑

Gooch week?? The perineum of the festive season of course. That awkward little patch between Christmas and New Year where nobody knows what day it is, everyone’s had a few too many shrimps on the barbie, and you’re wondering what to do with yourself.

We’ve got a suggestion!

Instead of another backyard b**r... come frolic in the crystal-clear waters of the Freycinet Peninsula, sip a camp cup-o-goon, and head into the New Year with salty hair, sore cheeks and a lifelong skill.

Honestly, what else are you going to do during Gooch Week? Eat more ham?

This trip sold out last season. Just saying. Who’s keen???!!!

Technical gear, trail food, transport, skills, community, two guides, and a pre-hike dinner so you’re not meeting strangers at sparrow’s fart for your adventure.

Yeah it’s all included. Swipe to see everything 👀

There are a few logistics involved in an overnight hike…even more so when you’re travelling interstate. Let us handle all of that. You just focus on the fun and honing those multi-day skills 🌿🌞

What’s included is a question that pops up from time to time. Got any questions? Ask away!!

Season One Finale. Sold out. Freycinet doing its magnificent thing as per usual.

We had a Tassie sampler pack on this trip - moody, warm, sunny and a few sprinkles in between. We met wallabies with absolutely no boundaries (approaching the chippy platter as if they’d paid full price), had bubbles at Wineglass Bay, learnt lifelong skills, witnessed cloud shows that made everything feel cinematic, and had n**e swims in wind still water at last light. A few girls even tried to book a tattoo for the day after. We don’t make the rules.

Eight chicks arrived. A group of friends left. Sick! It’s what it’s all about!

What an ending to our first ever season!
