On Earth Day Hurstbridge had visiting conservation students from Polytechnic. It was a pleasure to see their delight in our backyard. Look at the scale of human to our beautiful tree heights and breadths.

As a local who feels incredibly grateful for access to this wonderful bush and has a deep appreciation and a ‘need’ to be in this magical space often I forget about the massive size of many of the trees. How do you feel walking through semi bushland?

This stunning landscape is just a few hundred metres from the Hurstbridge train station and centre of the village filled with cafes, foodie and gift shops and many beauty services and lots more.

How lucky are we to call this home? How lucky are wider Melbournians who are able to come and visit by car or train, less than an hour from the CBD?!

So much to see and experience in our region. 🥰

Can you help, please? ❤️ Nutfield Wildlife Shelter Wanted. Flannelette pouch liners urgently. Or flannel sheets that I can cut and sew.
Needed asap as there are so many little Joey's in care. Unable to keep up with the washing and drying.
If anyone has any please drop off pm for address

Thank you everyone the responses has been overwhelming. Lots of sheets and pouches have come my way. Lot's of kind people sewing for me. Even have a beautiful sole doing the laundry for the babies.

So cool! Have you ever seen souped up Ride on Mowers Racing? This is an awesome spectator sport. The participants take it very seriously. We're really lucky to have the event so close to Melbourne as it usually only held in country areas.

Heaps of races during the day for different classifications. It's a spectator FREE EVENT at Hurstbridge Primary School

Highly recommend!
