China Southern Airlines is soaring to new heights, expanding its Adelaide to Guangzhou service to daily flights this summer! 📣

From 1st December 2026 to 10th March 2027, China Southern will provide even more connections between South Australia, China and beyond. 🌏 The increase follows the airline’s recent transition to year-round operations and highlights Adelaide’s growing appeal as an international destination and gateway to the world.

Offering an extra 1,064 seats each week of the peak summer season, the enhanced service is a major win for SA tourism, trade and travellers, bringing Adelaide one flight closer to China plus destinations across Asia and Europe! ✈️

Great news! Singapore Airlines is expanding to 12 weekly flights! 📣

Adelaide’s longest-serving international airline will increase to 12 weekly flights from 25th October 2026. Providing a further 1,328 seats in and out of Adelaide each week, these additional services offer travellers greater choice and capacity to the rest of the world via Singapore Changi Airport. 🌏✨

This milestone marks the first time an international carrier has operated 12 year-round weekly services from Adelaide, reflecting the strong demand for international travel and Singapore Airlines’ ongoing commitment to South Australia. ✈️

Adelaide to Shanghai services with China Eastern Airlines are now flying! ✈︎ Before the current season wraps up on 2nd August, there’s still time to catch flights every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday from Adelaide Airport!

The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) is due to be implemented toward the end of 2026. Once implemented, travellers visiting any of the 30 participating European countries visa-free will need to get an ETIAS travel authorisation. The ETIAS is different to the European Entry/Exit System (EES).

Dual citizens of participating European countries or Ireland will not be eligible for an ETIAS travel authorisation. If you’re a dual citizen, once the system is implemented you will not be able to enter any participating countries using your Australian passport. You will have to enter using the passport from your other country of citizenship.

If you don’t have a passport from your other country of citizenship, apply for one soon. Application wait times in some countries can be very long.
