Day 7 - Itilleq! Final day of the expedition, and what a way to end it. We visited this tiny community of only 103 people and were invited into their homes for kaffemik (a traditional Greenlandic open-house gathering for coffee, food, and community connection). We finished the afternoon with a soccer match where our ship team played the locals. This expedition was unbelievable, I loved EVERY minute of it. Greenland was absolutely incredible.

Day 5 - Eqip Sermia! This itinerary just keeps getting better and better. Sitting in a zodiac watching this incredible glacier (3.2km wide) calving is something I’ll never forget. We were sitting a couple km’s from the glacier too. The size is unfathomable.

Day 4 - Uummannaq! WOW. My favourite day so far, words cannot describe how beautiful this town is. We went for a town walk and got an insight into life here. There is so much to say, but you should experience it for yourself. By far a highlight of the trip!

Day 3 - Qeqertarsuaq (Disko Island)! Today was a hiking day, with some of us choosing to hike 10km into the backcountry. It was also our first day seeing icebergs. It was raining and windy, but that didn’t matter at all. The scenery was out of this world.

Day 2 - Sisimiut! Greenland’s 2nd largest city with a population of 5,500. What a beautiful place!

We did a city walk with a local guide who was so knowledgeable and had some time to roam around ourselves. A highlight was getting to learn about the role of the Greenlandic Dog within Sisimiut (and cuddle some of the puppies).

Fun fact: the Greenlandic Dog is one of the purest breeds in the world.

Day 1 - Greenland! A huge day starting with a 4am wake up and early morning charter flight from Copenhagen. Factor in a 3 hour time difference and it was a never ending day. Absolutely worth it though because it ended with a glimpse of the Northern Lights. More to come 🇬🇱❤️

🌍 IMPORTANT | AMENDED OFFICE HOURS THIS WEEK & NEXT WEEK 🌍

Hi everyone,

We have a few changes to our office hours over the coming weeks as our team heads off on some exciting travels!

Wednesday 2 September – Friday 4 September:
Our office will close at 2:30pm each day. Alex will be departing for the Arctic on Wednesday, while Sam will be in the office until Friday.

Monday 7 September – Monday 14 September:
Our office will be closed during this period. Alex will continue to monitor emails and respond to anything urgent, and will also be contactable via WhatsApp if required.

We really appreciate your continued support and patience while our team gets out into the world, experiencing new destinations and properties first-hand. ✈️
